The Capital Development Authority has opened technical bids for a Rs1.4 billion underpass at Kashmir Chowk, also known locally as Dhokri Chowk, on Murree Road near Islamabad Club, moving the project a firm step closer to actual construction. A second underpass is also being planned at the Faisal Avenue and Margalla Road junction, with its PC I, the formal cost and design document Pakistani development authorities prepare before a project goes to tender, currently being finalised ahead of its own bidding process.
